Previewing the 2020 Hyundai Sonata
The midsize sedan segment is a crowded one, and standing out is no easy feat. However, Hyundai automakers have long done a pretty excellent job of doing just that. One of the best examples of this is the <a href="https://www.woodhousehyundaiofomaha.com/new-inventory/index.htm?search=&saveFacetState=true&model=Sonata&cityFuelEconomy=&highwayFuelEconomy=&lastFacetInteracted=inventory-listing1-facet-anchor-model-6" style="text-decoration-line: none;" title="2019 Hyundai Sonata” target=””>2019 Hyundai Sonata. It’s both elegant and reliable, something that not every car brand can brag about.
Now, the 2020 Hyundai Sonata is fast approaching, and it’s coming with a bold new look and a slew of enticing new features. As your Omaha, NE Hyundai dealership, we’re breaking down what you need to know.
One of the first things you’ll notice about the 2020 Hyundai Sonata is its look, specifically the grille and hood which slopes down into a large mesh grille. Hyundai automakers refer to the overall look of the vehicle as “Sensuous Sportiness.”
The 2020 Hyundai Sonata is available in four trim levels: the SE, SEL, SEL Plus, and Limited. Both the SE and SEL trims run on a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The SEL Plus and Limited trims come with a 1.6-liter turbocharged I-4 engine that puts out 180 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
According to Mike O’Brien, Vice President of Product, Corporate and Digital Planning, Hyundai North America, “[The Hyundai] Sonata is our signature product. Having been one of our first and most successful nameplates, [Hyundai] Sonata is our legacy, and it needs to be special and memorable in all attributes.”
